Horton River

The Horton River is in the north of the North West Territories. This was a 10 day excursion where we paddled a total of 300 kilometers. Towards the third day the weather turned on us and we were hit with the worst weather they had seen during summer months since 2009. We battled lots of rain and strong headwinds and even snow. We were able to find small patches of sun at small points of the day and this trip reminded me of just how small we really are.
